CINDY TRUONG

CO-FOUNDER & CEO

Los Angeles, CA

VP Sales, Recurly

Cindy has over 20 years of sales and sales management experience in SMB and Enterprise B2B software solutions, specializing in SAAS technology and cloud-based customer business solutions. Her experience has taken her into some of the toughest industries (Healthcare, Automotive, HR and Digital Media) where she built and scaled sales teams in high-growth mode and successfully grew the brand for companies like Intrado, ExakTime, Edmunds.com, and Cornerstone OnDemand.   During this time, she dedicated her efforts to championing all aspects of Business Development, Sales, Account Management, and Sales Operations resulting in multimillion-dollar bottom-line business growth leveraging multi-vertical and multi-channel strategies.   She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

 

On a more personal note, Cindy is a certified yoga instructor with 350 hours RYT and is passionate about wellness.  She also has 16 years of experience training in martial arts including Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do.

JESSICA KLEPPER

CEO and Founder,  The Vision Board Guide

Jessica has 20+ years of sales experience in B2C, B2G, and B2B software, shipping, supply chain, payments, and cash flow solutions working for both tech startups and Fortune 500 companies. Her most recent roles have been with American Express and FedEx, where she created and trained 8 Touchpoints, Challenger Simplified, and 3 Financial Data Points for Executive Conversations. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Foster School of Business, University of Washington, and is currently pursuing her MBA at USC Marshall School of Business.

She is also a certified yoga instructor with 350 hours RYT, volunteered for six years with The Fulfillment Fund as a Mentor and a Council Member, has served as Advisory Board Chairman and Province Director for Kappa Kappa Gamma, as a Board Member for New Image Emergency Shelter, and is in the midst of planning her now-postponed wedding. When she's not in school or working on SoS, she's organizing a drawer, making a music video, or helping people (and speaking to companies) with vision boarding as The Vision Board Guide.

MEESHIE NGUYEN
HEAD OF EVENTS
San Diego, CA

Director Corporate Finance and Compliance

Meeshie has over 20 years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience working at major public companies such as FICO, Wingcast/Ford and Blackbaud.  Currently, she is the Director of Finance at a privately held FinTech company in San Diego, rounding out her software and payment processing background.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from CSU San Marcos and a MBA from the University of Southern California. 

 

Meeshie serves as a Board Advisor for the Copley-Price YMCA and coordinates their annual golf tournament fundraiser.  She is also breast cancer survivor - diagnosed when she was only 29 years old.  From that journey, she started Events For Causes donating her time as an event coordinator for non-profits.  Each year, she assembles #ChemoWarriorKits that are hand delivered to children undergoing chemotherapy at Rady Children’s Hospital.  In her “spare” time, Meeshie has competed in three NPC bikini competitions, has run 3 marathons and 15 half-marathons.  When she’s not running around, Meeshie loves to golf with her 9-year old son.

NANCY A. SHENKER

Nancy A. Shenker is a marketing innovator, brand builder, writer, speaker, and self-proclaimed rule breaker. Over the course of her 40-year business and marketing career, she has been a C-level executive, an entrepreneur, and a mentor to hundreds of small businesses at all stages – including fast-scaling SaaS businesses. Founder of theONswitch marketing, Nancy was formerly a senior executive for major consumer and business brands, including Citibank, MasterCard, and Reed Exhibitions.

 

She has written four books and publishes a women’s entrepreneur community (sheBOOM) and AI/machine learning/robotics site EmbracetheMachine and travel and lifestyle site BleisureLiving.

 

She also wrote a column for Inc.com called Bots & Bodies (about the human side of tech) and is a contributor to Thrive Global. She is 64, has two daughters, and is a self-proclaimed midlife digital nomad, with a home base in Scottsdale, Arizona. (She’s originally a hard-core New Yorker.)

EMILY O'KANE

As a brand strategist and copywriter, Emily has led and produced original content in a myriad of professional settings, including within digital and traditional agency settings, in house for a healthcare startup, and as a freelance writer and brand strategist. Her clients have spanned industries, from hospitality, and food & beverage to arts, healthcare, and technology. She loves helping clients distill their ideas and ambitions into impactful stories that compel audiences to action. 

 

Emily is passionate about creating inclusive spaces for women in business. She holds a degree in multimedia journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently pursuing her MBA at USC Marshall School of Business. 

 

When she is not writing, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and trying new recipes. Emily is currently based in the mountains of Western North Carolina. 

DONNA PALMER

Donna’s is an accomplished Director of Account Management and Business Development; her career of 25 plus years has been focused on the travel/hospitality industry.  Donna’s experience includes working at Onriva, American Express Global Business Travel and Hyatt Corporation.  Donna has built her career on the successful business relationships she has fostered with her clients, colleagues and partners over the past 3 decades.

A proud California native, Donna is a graduate of San Jose State University.  Donna volunteers as a Mentor at SJSU and Woodside High School.  In her free time Donna loves to travel to new places or back to her favorite places, baking delicious treats in her kitchen, spending time with her family and friends and cheering on her Raiders.

HANNAH TATRO

Sales Executive, Mariana Tek

A native of steel city Pittsburgh, PA, Hannah Tatro, has spent her 10+ year career in the fitness and wellness industry. Hannah first learned Motivational Interviewing skills working with clients in the boutique fitness space that directly translated to the sales floor. After transitioning into the corporate world and successfully moving up the sales ladder at a billion-dollar startup, Hannah now works in SaaS sales selling software management tools to boutique fitness owners. While not on Zoom calls uncovering pain points and unselling prospects on their current solution, Hannah likes to stay fit at 6am HIIT classes, follow women's sports (mostly soccer), and shop at Trader Joe's for her next Instant Pot recipe.

CHRISTINA FETYKO

Christina's 10+ years of professional experience spans across academic advising, recruiting coordinating, sales development, and beyond. 

Whether guiding students to clarify and advance towards their aspirations, creating world-class candidate journeys for potential new hires, or inspiring prospects to take a look at stronger tools for their business goals --- she loves guiding folks towards best-fit solutions and cultivating environments where they feel valued, inspired, and empowered. 

Christina completed the Society of Saleswomen's Swamini Mentorship program in 2020 and received her BFA in Business Administration (Marketing Management focus).

In her free time, you may find Christina hiking in nature, participating in a film festival, refining her uppercut #MuayThai, making fresh chai, or trying something new!

Joe’s expertise is in business processes, systems analysis, and data processing. With extensive experience in workflow design, reporting and advanced analytical & critical thinking, Joe takes a creative approach to accomplish tasks and effectively optimize systems to address dynamic needs, improve collaboration, and strengthen productivity. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California’s Viterbi School of Engineering and is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.

 

Joe is an Infantry Assaultman veteran of the United States Marine Corps and deployed twice during his tour of duty. He is now living in Huntington Beach, CA with his wife, son, and three daughters.
