SoS Hosts Event with Christine Rogers of Aspireship

Society of Saleswomen hosts women from companies across the U.S. to online Web event, “Build Your Perception: Effective Communication in Today’s Environment,”  with Christine Rogers, President and COO of Aspireship.

[PHOENIX, AZ]: Society of Saleswomen hosted its first large-scale online event and first via zoom conferencing on Thursday, May 7, 2020.

“The path from individual contributor to leader, relies so much on communication,” says Christine Rogers, President and  COO of Aspireship, and featured speaker for the event. “Even though this was a larger group, we wanted this event to be conversational.”

Web Events are one of many types of events Society of Saleswomen is looking to cultivate. The event on May 7 covered topics like:

• Communication via teleconferencing/video/phone

• The importance of gaining feedback from others to confirm your self-perception

• Building and creating a tribe to support you

This is the second larger-scale event for Society of Saleswomen. A follow up event is scheduled with Christine Rogers for June 11, 2020. The events will continue to be hosted via Zoom during Covid-19. Other events include networking, online course, and workshops and are all currently online.
